AMA was gracious enough to deliver the comfort kit to my office. For me, the comfort kit was a welcome gift into a support group when I was mentally and spiritually in dire need. I had no idea there were so many women (couples) in my community struggling with infertility. This small gesture from Amelia Molloy’s Angels made the biggest impact in my life. I am now a part of this community and as a community we can give others the same support they may need 🧡

The Bible says that children are a gift from God and they are his reward.  And I believe that to be true. And I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience parenthood, if they choose, regardless of their situation and circumstance. What Amelia Malloy’s Angels does by helping to alleviate the emotional and financial burdens associated with IVF, surrogacy, and adoption provides a much needed relief and hope to those locally that are navigating this challenging path to parenthood and offer assistance to those who might not have the option to explore these options.    Not only do they offer tangible support, but they also foster a sense of community and understanding among those that are facing similar struggles, and that is an invaluable resource. By supporting programs like Amelia Malloy’s Angels, we can directly contribute to easing the journey for these families and help make their dreams of having children a reality.

I received my Comfort Kit at a time I needed it most.  Infertility is such an up and down journey that is often filled with fear of the unknown.  It was such a nice surprise to receive a bag full of goodies at my front door.  The gift truly meant so much to me; it showed me that I had a group of people cheering me on and genuinely supporting me in this journey.

The word infertility carries a lot of pain, uncertainty, sorrow, and grief. Infertility is being in this club no one wants to be a part of. Many times prior to the AMA support group, I felt alone and like dmd I had no one who understood what I was going through.

Suffering from infertility is probably the hardest thing I have ever had to experience. For a long time and still at times now I struggle with that reality, but when I found AMA’s support group things changed.  I found a group of supportive and loving people who have walked a similar road to mine (not the same because infertility is different for all of us), we all share the same pain. 

AMA has given me the courage to share my own infertility story. It has given me the strength I need to talk about my story, to want to share my struggles and the small victories. What victories can there be in infertility you might ask, well telling my story and being able to help one person is a victory, being supportive to someone going through the same is a victory. AMA support group has taught me to see the victories in my struggle, to be me than infertility and all, to love myself. 

Thank you AMA your support has brought me joy in the struggle, helped me love myself, and helped me understand that infertility does not define me. Thanks to AMA’s support group, I know I  am more than “infertility.

I walked into the AMA support group a bit nervous about what to expect.  I imagined awkward conversations and uncomfortable moments.  However I was surprised to see how much fun I had.  It was a relief to be around others working through a similar situation, even if it was unspoken.  The group was willing to listen when I needed to talk but never pressured me at all!  It was also helpful and resourceful while my husband and I navigated the IVF process.  I’m so grateful for the group and all that AMA has to offer.

It goes without saying that infertility can be very challenging. It is especially tough when everybody around you is announcing their pregnancy and no one else close to you is experiencing infertility issues or having to go through IVF treatment. It can cause you to feel isolated and sometimes hopeless. The support provided from Molloy Angels has helped me so much to get through even the most difficult moments, from multiple procedures to unsuccessful embryo transfers. This amazing and compassionate team at Amelia Malloy is always there with encouraging prayers and fun gatherings with other like minded friends. I am truly grateful for all the support I’ve received and know that we are not alone in this emotional journey.

This grant has been a life-changing blessing. It has provided us the chance to overcome the challenges of infertility and fulfill our deepest desire of becoming parents. This grant has given us the chance to focus on building a family free from the worries of financial strain and for that, I am forever grateful.
