Meet Our Prayer Leader

Hello Everyone! My name is Stephanie Penderel, and I was born and raised in Bakersfield, California. I’ve been happily married to my wonderful husband, Patrick, for 3 1/2 years. We share our home with our two playful dogs, Marti and Pete. After spending 6 years teaching Early Childhood Special Education, I am now grateful to be a stay-at-home wife and future mom.

Throughout our marriage, Patrick and I have faced challenges with infertility. We were informed that our only option for having children was through IVF. After two rounds of IVF, we ended up with one embryo, which unfortunately resulted in a miscarriage. Last spring, my husband suggested the idea of embryo adoption. After much prayer and reflection, we felt called to pursue embryo adoption as a way to grow our family. In January, we underwent our embryo transfer and are thrilled to be expecting a baby girl in October 2024.

Amelia Molloy’s Angels has had a profound impact on my family. I strongly support their mission to assist couples in achieving their dream of becoming parents. I wanted to contribute to this mission and provide encouragement to families navigating their own infertility journey.
